These Terms govern your use of Seylo, an app for meeting verified people nearby through shared-interest Circles. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By continuing, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code — there are no passwords to manage. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
To keep the community real, we ask you to verify your identity with a short selfie liveness check, compared against the photos on your profile. We may also review profile photos before they become visible to others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts we cannot verify or that show signs of being fake, automated, or duplicated.
Seylo organizes people into Circles based on interests and general area. Contact between two people starts with a message request; a conversation only opens once a request is accepted. We may limit how many requests an account can send in a given period, and may apply different limits to different account types — this is part of how we manage the free product and keep it usable for everyone.
Do not: impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions; harass, threaten, or demean other users; post sexually explicit, violent, or unlawful content; solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users; use the app for commercial promotion, spam, or automated scraping; or attempt to bypass our verification, moderation, or safety systems. We may detect patterns associated with scams or premature contact-sharing (e.g. pushing a match to another platform immediately) and act on them, including limiting or removing an account.
You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting them, you give Seylo a license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the app (for example, showing your profile to other users, or running the automated checks described above). You confirm you have the right to share whatever you post, and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.
Seylo is a tool for meeting people — it is not a substitute for your own judgment. Meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, and never send money to someone you have not met in person. Report and block anyone who makes you uncomfortable; our safety team reviews reports and can restrict or remove accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users. You may delete your account at any time from the app.
Seylo is provided "as is." We work to verify accounts and moderate content, but we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user, on or off the app. You use the service, and interact with other users, at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, Seylo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or your interactions with other users, including in-person meetings arranged through it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will let you know about material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Seylo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
